With the Medisana TM 750 infrared thermometer you can take precise measurements of body temperature on the forehead or in the ear. The multifunction thermometer emits an acoustic signal both when it is ready to measure and when the measurement is complete.
Precise, rapid measurement of body and object temperature
Measurements with the TM 750 infrared thermometer are taken along the forehead and temple or optionally in the ear. The measurement result is displayed within a few seconds. In addition to measuring body temperature, the thermometer can also be used to measure an object's temperature, for example ambient temperature, the temperature of liquids, or surfaces. Measurements in this mode are possible in the range of 0 to 100 degrees Celsius (32°F to 212°F).
Fever alarm and memory function
In addition to the digital display of all relevant data, it also offers an optical fever alarm via a color change: green LED display = temperature still normal; red display = elevated temperature. Particularly practical for comparing values and thus monitoring fever progression is the memory function: the infrared thermometer automatically stores the last 30 measurements.

Infrared thermometers work by measuring the thermal radiation emitted by the skin. The integrated sensor converts that radiation into a temperature reading you see on the display.
Please hold the infrared thermometer a few centimeters away from the forehead or temple and press the trigger. The body temperature will now be measured and the result will appear on the display.
Infrared thermometers generally provide reliable results, but some external influences can be sources of error. For example, sweat or ambient temperatures can slightly affect accuracy.
Normally, a human body's temperature is between 36 and 37 degrees. From 38 degrees it is considered a fever. From 41 degrees it is considered a high fever.
